Cauldrons and clotted cream at The Esplanade in Newquay
There’s a cauldron of lime jelly waiting at The Esplanade in Newquay. And a view of Fistral Beach to go with it.
The hotel is serving a Spook-tacular Afternoon Tea by the Sea through the Halloween season, pairing seasonal sweet treats with the afternoon tea classics. That means freshly made finger sandwiches, warm scones with Cornish clotted cream and jam, and unlimited tea or coffee, all served overlooking Fistral.
Children get a dedicated menu of their own, with Halloween-themed cakes and sweet surprises, so it’s pitched as a half-term treat for families, friends and grandparents alike.
