East Street in Newquay is gearing up for its first-ever Christmas event, Eastside Yuletide, set to take place on Saturday, 14th December 2024. Organised in collaboration with Newquay Business Improvement District (BID) and local businesses, this family-friendly event promises a day packed with festive fun.

What to Expect at Eastside Yuletide

Live Music to Set the Festive Mood

Local performers will take to the stage throughout the day to bring festive cheer:

• 13:30 – The Velvets
• 14:30 – Orchard Voices
• 18:00 – The Clams

Dog Fancy Dress Competition

Pet lovers won’t want to miss the Dog Fancy Dress Competition at 16:00. Judging will take place under the gazebo outside the Post Office, with prizes generously donated by The Pet Centre.

Games and Treasure Hunts

The Cornwall Dukes Youth American Football Team will host games at 15:30, while families can participate in an Elf-on-a-Shelf Treasure Hunt running throughout the afternoon. Explore the street to find hidden elves in local businesses!
