Michelin Star Restaurant Unveils 50% Offer for Cornwall’s Hospitality Workers

Adam Handling MBE has announced a hospitality-only 50% lunch offer at Ugly Butterfly by Adam Handling, just weeks after the restaurant was awarded its first Michelin Star in Cornwall.

The chef shared the news on Instagram ahead of the busy summer season, thanking Cornwall’s hospitality workers for their support over the past six months and for congratulating the team on their recent success.

In his post, Adam wrote:

“To our Cornish hospitality family,
A huge thanks to you all for being so incredibly welcoming to myself and the whole Ugly Butterfly team over the past 6 months – it really means a lot.
Thanks also for all of you who reached out to congratulate us on our first Michelin star in Cornwall.
The Cornish food scene is one of the most exciting and to be one of the 4 starred restaurants in the region is completely mind blowing.
We all know that summer is right around the corner and it will be plenty of long hours and hard work for everyone.
So, as a little gift, ahead of the crazy season, I’m offering the industry 50% off our lunch bookings – no limitations on number of guests or menu experience.
Let’s really enjoy ourselves before the incredibly hard work begins!

Who Can Claim the Offer?

The 50% discount is available to Cornwall hospitality employees only and applies to lunchtime bookings from Tuesday to Thursday, up to and including Thursday 21st May.

Adam also shared a number of conditions:

• The offer is valid for lunchtimes Tues to Thurs, until Thu 21st May, for Cornwall employees only

• Tables must be booked by email. Anyone who books via OpenTable will not be eligible

• Bookings should be made by emailing [email protected]

• Guests must email their workplace, job title and proof of employment

• The offer is extended to chefs, waiters, hosts, KPs, bartenders and sommeliers
