Penryn RFC lands £10,000 SPAR boost for clubhouse revamp
Ten thousand pounds has landed at Penryn RFC, and the Borough are not holding back on the thank yous. The grassroots club has been handed the sum by SPAR, and it is heading straight into plans that reach well beyond the first team.

A five-figure Community Cashback win
Penryn Rugby Football Club has received a £10,000 donation from SPAR through the retailer’s Community Cashback scheme. The club called the support “incredible” and “extremely generous”, and said it would make a huge difference.
Money earmarked for the clubhouse
The cash is going towards clubhouse renovations, work the club says will improve opportunities for its players, members and the wider community. It framed the donation as a lift for everyone who uses the ground, not only the players who pull on the shirt on a Saturday.
‘It really does mean so much’
In its message of thanks, the club said: “A massive thank you to everyone at SPAR for supporting grassroots rugby and our club. It really does mean so much to us.”
“£10,000, what an amazing boost for the Borough.”
