We have been sent photos showing Storm Bram throwing huge waves over Penzance Promenade at high tide this morning, Tuesday 9th December 2025. The images capture the swell as the storm moved across Cornwall.

What We Know About Storm Bram

Storm Bram has been officially named by the Met Office, with more details shared in their update on the weather system. You can read their full information on Storm Bram on the Met Office website at this link.

The conditions in Penzance this morning lined up with the unsettled weather described by the Met Office, creating the dramatic scenes seen along the promenade.

Photos From the Prom

The pictures show waves breaking over the sea wall and spraying across the walkway during high tide. The sea state appears rough, matching the stormy conditions pushing in from the Atlantic.

These images have been sent in for use and show how Storm Bram has already made its presence known in west Cornwall.

If you have photos or videos of the weather where you are, feel free to send them to us for possible inclusion in our coverage.
