Cornwall Council is looking for someone to take on anti-social behaviour in Penzance, working side by side with the police.

What the job involves

The role is for an Anti-Social Behaviour Caseworker based in Penzance. The caseworker will work in partnership with the police as part of the council’s wider effort to keep communities safe.

Dedicated ASB Caseworkers sit within the ASB Team, which is part of the broader Community Safety Team. The team uses a mix of prevention and enforcement tools to deliver its service.

Who it sets out to help

The purpose of the team is to tackle a range of anti-social behaviour involving both adults and young people. That work covers all housing tenures, reaches into neighbourhoods, and targets community-based hotspots.

The approach is described as solution focused, with the team working alongside all relevant agencies.
