Penzance car taken overnight and found abandoned nearby

A small white Nissan Leaf was taken from Penalverne Drive in Penzance in the early hours of Tuesday, then found abandoned on Polmeere Road a short time later. Police want to hear from anyone whose CCTV or dashcam caught someone getting into or out of it.

What happened

The car was taken from Penalverne Drive during the early hours of Tuesday 30 June. It was found abandoned at around 5.45am on Polmeere Road, also in Penzance. Officers are appealing for witnesses and any CCTV that might help.

The car police want to trace

The vehicle is a small white Nissan Leaf with the registration VF66 EOO. It has a cat sticker above the front number plate.

What officers are asking for

Police are particularly interested in footage that shows anyone entering or leaving the car. They have asked that anything be reported, however minor it might seem.
