Pool Academy Launches +Plus Programme with Wide Range of Clubs

Pool Academy, part of Athena Learning Trust, has launched a new extra-curricular programme this term called Pool Academy +Plus.

The scheme offers a wide range of after-school and lunchtime activities aimed at helping students explore new interests, build skills and enjoy themselves.

The clubs are designed to encourage friendships, boost confidence and give students the chance to discover new passions while achieving personal goals.

A Huge Choice of Clubs

Among the activities available are contemporary dance, homework club, Samba band, athletics, basketball, crossfit and even Dungeons & Dragons.

For those preparing for exams, Champion’s Hour offers Year 11 students a focused after-school revision session in a supportive environment.

Students can also join the Health and Nutrition Club, where they explore healthy eating habits and learn how to make informed choices about their diet.

Pool Academy is holding an open evening for prospective students on 25th September from 4.30pm until 7pm. Alternatively, tours of the school can be booked here.
