Man airlifted after lorry collision on Redruth industrial estate

A man has been left with life-changing injuries after being trapped by a heavy goods vehicle at a business on Treleigh Industrial Estate in Redruth.

What happened

Devon and Cornwall Police were called by the ambulance service at 10.05am on Tuesday 23 June, following reports that a man had been trapped by a heavy goods vehicle at a commercial premises on the estate.

The man, who is in his 60s, was airlifted to hospital with life-changing injuries.

The road was closed while a collision investigation took place. His next of kin have been informed.

Police appeal for witnesses

Officers want to hear from anyone who saw what happened or has information that could help their enquiries. They are also asking drivers who were in the area to check for dashcam footage.
