Man Arrested After Alleged Robbery Threat at Redruth Co-op
Police have confirmed that a man has been arrested following a reported threat at a Co-op store in Redruth on 2nd April.

Call to Police
Camborne, Pool and Redruth Police said they received a call from the store about a male who had threatened to rob them. Officers were immediately dispatched to the area, but the individual had already left and his identity was not known at that time.
Suspect Traced
Following what police described as “old fashioned policing” alongside information gathered from members of the public, officers were able to trace the male to an address in the town.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and attempted robbery. Police also confirmed that a weapon and a balaclava were found at the address.
Ongoing Investigation
The man has since been released on bail while further enquiries continue.
