Prize bingo night in Roche to raise funds for air ambulance and cat charity

A bingo card and a bar tab could do a lot of good in Roche this October. A special Prize Bingo Evening is coming to Roche Victory Hall on Saturday 10 October, raising money for Cornwall Air Ambulance and Clay County Cat Care.

Doors at six, eyes down at half seven

There’s no need to book. Doors open at 6pm, with eyes down at 7.30pm, and payment is made on the door. Alongside the prize bingo itself there’ll be a raffle, a special raffle tombola, and a bar open throughout the evening.

Why these two charities

The event is being organised by Katt Barratt, who chose both causes for personal reasons.

Cornwall Air Ambulance provides emergency medical care across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Katt’s grandad needed the service before he passed away, and she said the care and support the air ambulance team gave the family meant a great deal.

The second cause, Clay County Cat Care, is a rescue that helps vulnerable cats. Katt adopted her own cat, a one-eyed ginger, from the charity, and said she’ll always be grateful for the home it gave him.

“Every penny raised from the evening will help support these two wonderful causes,” Katt said.
