A Leap of Faith for Animals in Need

Sarah Rogers has taken fundraising to new heights – quite literally – by completing a 15,000ft skydive to support RSPCA Cornwall Branch. The daring jump has raised an impressive £867 for the self-funded rehoming centre, which relies on local donations to cover its £800,000 annual running costs.

Every Penny Counts

RSPCA Cornwall Branch is independent of the national RSPCA, meaning every donation plays a crucial role in providing care, medical treatment, and shelter for animals in need. Sarah’s fundraising effort will help the centre continue its mission of finding loving homes for animals, no matter their age, medical, or behavioural needs.

“I Did It!”

Following her jump, Sarah shared her excitement:

“I did it 🪂 15,000ft in the bag. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, I’m now at over £850 for RSPCA Cornwall Branch. Enjoy some photos of my face skin flapping!”

Those interested in supporting Sarah’s fundraiser can still donate via her JustGiving page.

A Community Effort

RSPCA Cornwall Branch praised Sarah’s bravery, saying her efforts will go a long way in supporting their work. They added that every penny raised helps provide essential care to animals in need.

Sarah’s skydive is a testament to the incredible efforts of local fundraisers who keep the Cornwall rehoming centre running. If you’d like to support their work, donations can be made via Sarah’s fundraising page or directly to RSPCA Cornwall Branch.
