Battling the Weather
The event took place in persistent rain, with only a few short sunny intervals breaking through during the day. Even so, the participants continued their birdwatching throughout the wet conditions.
The trip was organised by Rowena Castillo-Nicholls, Founder and Chair of Connect with Nature, RSPB Kernow Group Leader, and Publicity Officer of Cornwall Birds.
Rob Nicholls led the fieldtrip.
A Social Finish to the Day
After the birdwatching session, the group wrapped up the event with a relaxed chat over coffee and cake.
