Saltash Celebrates New Play Park Upgrades with Grand Opening Event
Exciting New Play Spaces Await Families at Grassmere Way
Saltash Town Council is delighted to announce the official opening of its upgraded play parks at Honeysuckle Close and Grassmere Way. To mark this achievement, a grand opening ceremony will take place today, Wednesday, October 30th, at Grassmere Way Play Park at 11 a.m. Mayor Julia Peggs will be cutting the ribbon, joined by the dedicated members of the working group and representatives from The Cornish Times and The Observer.
Community Celebration with Play for All Ages
Families and community members are encouraged to come along to the event, where children can be among the first to enjoy the newly improved facilities. The upgrades aim to enhance play provisions for Saltash residents and surrounding areas, bringing a new level of enjoyment and safety to these popular community spaces.
Funding Support for the Upgrades
These significant enhancements were made possible through the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding and additional support from Saltash Town Council. The council is enthusiastic about the positive impact these improvements will bring to local families and the wider community.
Residents are encouraged to attend the event to celebrate this community milestone.
