Nevada Construction back as Cornish Pirates Community Partner

A familiar name has returned to the Cornish Pirates’ line-up, and this time it comes with a bigger role off the pitch. Nevada Construction has been named the club’s new Lead Community Partner, taking title billing on one of the club’s best-known local schemes and putting its name behind a summer of camps and events across Cornwall.

What the partnership covers

Nevada Construction becomes title sponsor of the popular Community Cup and of the award-winning Cornish Pirates in the Community department, along with lead sponsor for all camps and events. The first of those lands on Thursday 6th August at The Mennaye, with a session run by Dan Hiscocks.

The club has framed the deal around strengthening the local community and investing in Cornwall’s future. It arrives on the back of a National Award for the club’s community work, which both sides point to as the reason the timing felt right.

Who Nevada Construction are

Nevada Construction keep their Head Office in Devon and are also based in Truro, at the Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre near Treliske Hospital. Keen rugby supporters, the company has built a growing presence in the rugby world and in sport more widely, with partnerships across the Southwest that include Plymouth Albion, Exeter Chiefs and Exeter City football.

What both sides said

The first test of that promise comes at The Mennaye on 6th August, when Dan Hiscocks takes the opening camp.
