Carlyon Bay Beach Venue to Show Every England World Cup Game

Published On: 8 June 2026Last Updated: 8 June 2026By

A big screen is coming to the sand at Carlyon Bay this summer, and football fans across Cornwall are being invited along to watch the World Cup with the sea in the background.

Shoreside Beach Venue is putting up a large covered marquee overlooking the beach, with every England match and a selection of other tournament fixtures shown live. The cover is the important bit. It means the football carries on whatever the Cornish weather decides to do.

More than just the football

Shoreside is pitching this as a full match day rather than a screen on a beach. Before kick-off there is live music and entertainment, and once the football starts there are four bars running across the venue. Groups can share beer and cocktail jugs, and there is a spread of street food to work through during the tournament.

Entry is free.

Who is feeding everyone

The food side is handled by a rotation of local pop-up traders. There are stone baked pizzas from Jaspers, seafood from the newly opened Fry Buoys, and smoothie bowls and matcha at Frooth. Manor Made is doing coffee, cakes and sweet treats, with Callestick Farm Ice-Cream alongside.

For something more filling there are pasties from Ogy1, and sandwiches, wraps and jacket potatoes at Crinnis Crib Hut. Stevie G’s Doghouse is on hotdogs, nachos and fries.

Getting a table

Tables inside the marquee are first-come, first-served, so turning up early is the safe bet for the bigger games. They can also be booked in advance.

A Match Day Squad Package, which bundles a table with food and drink for groups, is due to be announced soon through the Shoreside website and its social channels. Fixture announcements and booking details are being posted on the venue’s Facebook and Instagram as the tournament approaches.

Shoreside stays open to the public all summer beyond the football, with local food, live music, water sports and wellness activities by the sea. More information is on the Shoreside website or on social media at @Shoresideatcarlyon.
