Man Left Unconscious After Assault at Carlyon Bay – Police Seek Key Witness
Incident at Crinnis Beach
Police are appealing for information following an assault that took place near St Austell last Friday evening.
The incident occurred between 5.45pm and 6.30pm on Friday 11th April at Crinnis Beach, Carlyon Bay. It was reported that a man was approached and verbally abused before being struck and kicked to the head repeatedly by two teenage suspects.
The victim lost consciousness during the assault.
Victim Taken to Hospital
The man was taken to hospital following the attack. Police confirmed that his injuries are not life-changing or life-threatening.
Appeal for Information
Officers are asking for witnesses to come forward, particularly a woman who came to the aid of the victim.
