PC Ben Jones Joins St Austell Neighbourhood Team
St Austell Police have welcomed a new neighbourhood officer to the area.
PC Ben Jones has joined the Neighbourhood Team and will be one of the new Neighbourhood Beat Managers covering St Austell Town, St Austell Bay and the Carlyon parishes.

Over 10 Years of Front Line Experience
Ben brings more than a decade of front line policing experience. He previously served as a PCSO and more recently worked as a PC on one of the patrol teams in St Austell.
According to St Austell Police, Ben has built up a wide range of knowledge and skills in both community and operational policing during that time.
He is also a local lad.
Keen To Understand Community Issues
Ben is keen to get out and about across the area to gain an understanding of the issues affecting the community.
Residents are encouraged to say hello if they see him while he is on duty in St Austell Town, St Austell Bay or the Carlyon parishes.
St Austell Police confirmed the appointment in a short update announcing the arrival of their new neighbourhood officer.
