St Austell Coastguard Says Goodbye to Georgia as She Takes on Senior Role

St Austell Coastguard Rescue Team has bid farewell to Georgia, who has been part of the team for the past four years as a Coastguard Rescue Officer. Alongside her voluntary role, she also worked full time as a Maritime Operations Officer in the ops room.

New Role with HM Coastguard

Georgia has now taken on a new position within HM Coastguard as a Senior Coastal Operations Officer (SCOO). In her new role, she will be responsible for training three teams.

Wishing Her Well

St Austell CRT shared the news over the weekend, writing:
“Georgia has been a great team member and will be missed massively, however she will make a great asset to the Area Management Team and HM Coastguard as a whole. We wish you the best of luck in your new role and your new teams are lucky to have you.”
