St Austell Man Kawanie Lewis Charged After Drugs Warrant
A drugs warrant on a St Austell property has ended with a man remanded in custody and a list of supply charges waiting for him at trial.
Officers from St Austell Police, working alongside the Neighbourhood Support team, carried out a drugs warrant at a property in the town on Tuesday 23 June.

What happened after the warrant
Following the warrant and further investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department, 38-year-old Kawanie Lewis, of St Austell, was arrested.
Kawanie has been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine and cannabis, along with possession of criminal property.
He appeared at Cornwall Magistrates’ Court on 25 June, where he was remanded in custody awaiting trial.
St Austell Police said they remain committed to tackling drug-related harm in their communities.
