Community invited to vote
St Austell Town Council is asking people to share their views on new play equipment that could take the place of the current Helter Skelter.
The structure has been a central feature of Poltair Park since it was installed in 2008. However, due to its age and an increasing amount of anti-social behaviour taking place within it, the council is now considering replacement options.
A new feature for the park
The Town Council says it is looking at installing something “equally significant and bold” that will stand out from other parks.
To take part, residents can visit St Austell Library during normal opening hours and cast their vote. The consultation is open from now until Saturday 18th April.
The feedback gathered will help guide what comes next for one of the park’s most recognisable attractions.
