Police Seize Bike and Scooter in St Blazey Anti-Social Behaviour Crackdown

Officers act after multiple reports of anti-social riding across St Austell, St Blazey and Clay Villages

Police in St Austell have seized a motorcycle and electric scooter following reports of anti-social riding by a group of young people in the St Blazey area.

On the afternoon of Wednesday 14th May, officers from the response and Neighbourhood Team identified both vehicles as being linked to ongoing concerns. Four known young people were involved and are now being dealt with for a number of road traffic offences. Police also confirmed they were found in possession of suspected cannabis.

Community Information Helps Officers Take Action

The Neighbourhood Team thanked local residents for the information they provided, which helped officers identify and stop the riders.

Police say they are aware of other incidents of motorcycles being ridden in an anti-social manner around St Austell, St Blazey and the Clay Villages.
