Two Decades of Quiet Commitment
Mike has volunteered as a donation box collector for the station, helping to raise vital funds for the lifeboat service over the last two decades. The certificate marks a significant milestone in his role supporting the station and its life-saving efforts.
Stepping Back, Still Standing By
Although Mike has now stepped down from his volunteer role, The Lizard RNLI Lifeboat Station say he remains “a loyal supporter” of their work. In a Facebook post, the team thanked him for his commitment, simply saying:
“On behalf of us all Mike, THANK YOU 🧡”
The recognition comes as a reminder of the essential role volunteers play, often behind the scenes, in supporting RNLI stations across Cornwall.
