Police Appeal After Woman Headbutted on Truro’s Lemon Quay
Officers want to hear from anyone who saw a man headbutt a woman near the benches on Lemon Quay on Sunday afternoon, and from anyone whose CCTV might have picked it up.

What happened
Police received a report of a man headbutting a woman by the benches on Lemon Quay at around 2.05pm on Sunday 7 June. A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He remains in police custody.
The appeal
Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have filmed it, to come forward. They are also particularly keen to hear from people with home or business CCTV overlooking the bench area, and are asking them to check their footage and report anything of relevance.
