Truro escape room invites local businesses to a puzzle punch-up

A Truro escape room has thrown out a challenge to firms across Cornwall, with free rooms and a hamper of prizes waiting for whoever comes out on top.

Enigma Escape Cornwall is running an event called Battle of the Businesses, a three-week league that pits local teams against each other inside its puzzle rooms. It runs from Monday 29 June to Sunday 19 July.

Who can take part

The league is open to any local business, shop, organisation or team of professionals. Teams of between 2 and 12 players can take on the rooms at once, and the venue has two award winning experiences to work through.

Competing teams get 15% off when booking online. The code is ENIGMABATTLE15, used at www.enigmaescapecornwall.co.uk.

What’s up for grabs

There is a hamper full of prizes, with each participating team donating something to the pot. Free escape rooms are also on the line for the winners.

The idea behind it

The team at Enigma Escape Cornwall said the league grew out of the corporate work they already do. “We do a lot of corporate away days, team building sessions and staff parties, especially at Christmas, and we really wanted to create a fun and exciting league of local businesses. A puzzle-solving friendly competitive punch up for all our fellow local businesses!”

They added: “It’s going to be really interesting to see how all the different types of professional people take on our rooms. Watching people problem solve, search for clues and work together as a team is such a fascinating part of our job!”
