Truro in Bloom 2026: the film heading for the national judges

Every summer Truro quietly makes its case. This year the argument arrives on screen, in a short film that travels with the city’s entry to the regional and national Bloom judges.

Truro City Council has shared the 2026 Truro in Bloom film, produced by Oatey Media, as part of this year’s judging entry.

What the film shows

The film showcases Truro’s parks, green spaces and floral displays, alongside the community projects and partnerships that keep the city looking cared for through the year. It forms part of the entry for both the regional South West in Bloom competition and the national Britain in Bloom awards, run by the Royal Horticultural Society.

A collective effort

Truro’s place in the Bloom competitions is not down to any one team. The council has thanked its Parks Department, the Truro in Bloom committee, the Truro Graffiti Removal Improvement Team (GRIT), volunteers, community groups, local organisations, businesses and everyone else who contributed to this year’s entry.

The council said it looks forward to receiving the results later this year.
