Truro Pride returns to Lemon Quay on Saturday 18th July
Anyone driving into Truro on Saturday morning should know that parts of the city will be shut long before the first performer takes to the stage. Boscawen Street closes at 5.00am, and by lunchtime a rolling closure will be following a parade through the city centre. Here is what is happening, and when.

Truro Pride, Saturday 18th July
Truro Pride, organised by Cornwall Pride, takes place on Saturday 18th July from 10.00am to 6.00pm on Lemon Quay.
The day builds around a Pride March, which sets off from Hendra Park at 12.00pm and follows a city centre route before finishing on Lemon Quay.
What is on at Lemon Quay
Celebrations on Lemon Quay begin at 12.30pm, once the parade arrives, with live entertainment running through the afternoon and into the evening.
The programme includes singers, dancers, comedians, drag artists, cabaret acts and musicians from across Cornwall and beyond. All of the entertainment is suitable for families.
Alongside the stage there will be stalls from local organisations, community groups and support services, the Cornwall Pride shop selling merchandise, and food and drink stalls throughout the day. An all-day bar will also be running for visitors aged 18 and over.
Road closures and the Farmers Market
Truro Farmers Market will be relocated to Boscawen Street for the day. To allow for that, a full road closure will be in place on Boscawen Street from 5.00am to 7.00pm.
During the Pride March itself, a rolling road closure will operate between 12.00pm and 1.00pm as the parade moves through the city centre.
Cornwall Pride says everyone is welcome, whether they are taking part in the parade or joining the celebrations afterwards on Lemon Quay.
