Bright but Chilly Start Today
Thursday 2nd April begins on a chilly note, but with plenty of sunshine expected through the morning and into the afternoon. Despite the brighter skies, it will feel fresher than recent days, with light winds and a maximum temperature of 13°C.
Rain Moves In Overnight
Conditions are set to change later in the day. Cloud will build quickly during the evening, followed by outbreaks of rain moving in from the west.
The rain is expected to continue overnight and could turn heavy at times, particularly over the Moors. Winds will also pick up, making for a more unsettled night with temperatures dropping to around 4°C.
Blustery and Showery Friday
Friday looks set to stay unsettled, with a blustery feel and spells of rain throughout the day. Some of these showers may be heavy at times.
There is still a chance of brighter or sunny intervals, especially during the afternoon, with temperatures reaching a slightly milder 15°C.
