Rain, Wind and Thunder Ahead? South West Braces for Changeable Days
The South West is set for a mixed spell of weather from Friday 10th April through to Tuesday 14th April, with cloud, rain and unsettled conditions expected across the region.

Friday 10th April
It will be a largely cloudy start to the day, although some brighter spells are possible in the east early on. As the day progresses, outbreaks of rain and drizzle are expected to move across the region.
Winds will strengthen through the day, with temperatures staying close to average. The maximum temperature is forecast to reach 12°C.
Overnight into Saturday
Cloudy conditions will continue into the night, with further patches of drizzle at first. Later, a band of heavier rain is expected to move through.
Winds will continue to strengthen, with gusty conditions likely, particularly along Bristol Channel coasts. Temperatures are set to drop to a minimum of 4°C.
Saturday 11th April
Rain will clear eastwards during the morning, making way for sunny spells and showers. Some of these showers could be locally heavy, with hail and a risk of thunder.
It will remain rather breezy, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 13°C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday
Conditions remain unsettled on Sunday, with a mix of sunny spells and showers expected.
Monday and Tuesday are likely to be often cloudy, with a few showers at times. Temperatures are forecast to stay generally close to average, with windy periods continuing.
