Sunshine and 25C for Cornwall this weekend
Warm air and strong sunshine are set to settle over Cornwall and the wider South West from Saturday 13 June. Temperatures are forecast to climb towards 25C by Sunday. The catch comes after dark. Under clear skies on Saturday night, the mercury could fall as low as 4C, so an evening outside may call for an extra layer.

A warm, sunny Saturday with very high UV
Saturday brings a fine, warm and sunny day for most, with a maximum temperature of 22C. The strong sunshine pushes UV levels to very high, worth bearing in mind for anyone heading to the beach or spending the day outdoors. Some fair weather cloud is likely at times. Winds will be lighter than Friday, with sea breezes developing into the afternoon.
A chilly night follows
Saturday night stays dry with light winds across the board. A mix of cloud and clear spells is expected. Under prolonged clear skies it turns rather chilly, with the temperature dropping to a minimum of 4C.
Sunday climbs towards 25C
Sunday is another fine day, with light winds and a mix of fair weather cloud and sunny spells. It will feel warmer for everyone, with a maximum of 25C. Sea breezes are again likely to develop into the afternoon.

What happens after the weekend
Monday stays dry with sunny spells. From Tuesday it turns cloudier, with some showers at times. Things grow a little windier through the period, especially by Wednesday. Temperatures stay rather warm throughout.
