Sunshine on the Way? South West Set for Warmer Days
People across the South West of England could see a noticeable improvement in the weather over the coming days, with sunshine and warmer temperatures expected after a cloudy and damp start to the week.
According to the latest forecast covering Tuesday 17th March to Saturday 21st March, conditions are expected to brighten as the week goes on.

Cloudy and damp start on Tuesday
Tuesday 17th March began with cloudy skies and damp conditions across the region. Patchy hill fog and areas of light rain or drizzle were also expected early in the day.
However, the cloud is forecast to gradually lift and break through the afternoon, leaving plenty of sunny spells developing, particularly in eastern parts of the region.
It will remain rather blustery, though temperatures are expected to feel warmer than Monday, with a maximum of around 14°C.
Clear but chilly overnight
The evening is expected to be fine, with clearer skies developing. As winds fall light overnight, temperatures will drop and it will turn chilly.
Mist and fog patches are likely to form during the early hours of Wednesday 18th March, with minimum temperatures falling to around 3°C.
Warm sunshine on Wednesday
Any mist and fog should clear during Wednesday morning, leaving a dry and sunny day across the South West.
With light winds and sunshine, it is expected to feel warm, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 18°C.

Dry spell continues into the weekend
The outlook for Thursday 19th March through to Saturday 21st March suggests largely settled conditions.
Thursday is expected to bring another warm and sunny day. Friday and Saturday should remain dry with sunny spells, although temperatures may be a little cooler.
Overnight conditions could still turn chilly where skies stay clear, while winds are expected to remain light.
