Cornwall set for a very warm week, but showers are lurking
If you have got outdoor plans over the next few days, the forecast is mostly on your side. The South West is heading into a stretch of very warm, largely dry weather, with temperatures climbing towards the mid-twenties. Just keep half an eye on the sky, because a few showers are set to break up all that sunshine.

What Sunday holds
Sunday starts partly cloudy with some sunny spells breaking through. Through the afternoon, cloud is expected to thicken across parts of Devon and Cornwall, and that will bring a few showers with it. It stays very warm in the sunshine, with a maximum temperature of 25°C.
The cloud should fade as the day goes on, giving a fine end to Sunday with some late sunshine. Overnight stays dry under clear skies and light winds, dropping to a minimum of 13°C.
Monday and the days after
Monday opens with blue skies before a little cloud bubbles up through the morning. There should still be plenty of sunny spells, and it will feel very warm again, with a maximum of 26°C.
From Tuesday to Thursday, the picture stays largely dry, with variable amounts of cloud and sunny spells. A few showers are possible on Wednesday. It stays very warm wherever the sun is out.
