A mixed few days of weather are on the way across the South West, with sunshine giving way to cloud and rain as the weekend approaches.

Thursday 26th March
The day begins cloudy across Devon and Cornwall, while other areas start off chilly but sunny. Any western cloud is expected to lift for a time before more cloud spreads eastwards during the afternoon.
Winds will be lighter compared to recent days, making it feel less cold, with a maximum temperature of 10°C.
Overnight into Friday
Cloud will continue to thicken through the evening, with outbreaks of rain arriving from the west during the early hours of Friday morning. Winds are also set to strengthen overnight.
Temperatures are expected to drop to a minimum of 3°C.
Friday 27th March
Friday looks set to begin damp and overcast, with rain gradually clearing to the south and east.
Conditions are expected to turn drier and brighter later in the afternoon, with the chance of some brighter spells developing. Temperatures will reach a maximum of 12°C.

Outlook for Saturday 28th March to Monday 30th March
Saturday is forecast to bring brighter conditions, with sunny spells and scattered showers developing.
Another spell of rain is expected to move in during Sunday, before clearing to leave bright spells and blustery showers on Monday. Winds will remain strong through this period.
Residents across Cornwall and the wider South West can expect a changeable few days ahead, with a mix of sunshine, cloud, rain and windy conditions.
