South West Set for Sudden Weather Shift This Weekend
The latest forecast for the South West of England suggests a mixed few days ahead, with wet and murky conditions giving way to brighter but windier weather before another unsettled spell moves in.

Damp and Murky Start to Friday
Friday 27th March is expected to be a cloudy and often damp day, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle across the region. Conditions are set to turn increasingly murky as coastal mist and hill fog develop.
There may be some drier periods through the day, although it will remain breezy in places. Temperatures are forecast to reach a maximum of 12°C.
Chilly Night Ahead
Rain is expected to clear during Friday evening, leading to a largely dry night with some clear spells developing overnight.
Temperatures will drop significantly, with a minimum of 1°C. Patchy grass frost is likely in rural areas, while winds are expected to pick up later in the night.
Blustery but Brighter Saturday
Saturday 28th March will bring a noticeable change, with a cold northwesterly wind making it feel cooler.
The day is expected to be largely dry, with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. However, a few showers remain possible. Maximum temperatures will reach around 10°C.

Changeable Conditions Continue
Looking ahead to Sunday 29th March through to Tuesday 31st March, the weather is set to remain unsettled and often windy.
Rain is expected at times, with the heaviest and most persistent spells likely later on Sunday. There is also the chance of some brighter intervals early next week, with conditions turning milder overall.
Residents across the South West can expect a mix of conditions over the coming days, with frequent changes between rain, sunshine and wind.
