Wet and Windy Sunday Ahead After Brighter Saturday
South West England is set for a mixed few days of weather, with a drier Saturday followed by a wet and windy Sunday.
The latest forecast covering Saturday 28th February to Wednesday 4th March points to a changeable start to the week, before conditions settle down again.

Saturday 28th February
Any early rain in the east is expected to clear, leaving many areas dry with sunny periods. Light winds will help it feel fairly pleasant for the time of year.
However, isolated showers may graze western coasts before heavier showers move eastwards during the evening. Winds are set to freshen later in the day.
Maximum temperatures are forecast to reach 11°C.
Saturday Night
Cloud will increase through the evening, with showers pushing into the west. Conditions are expected to turn wet and windy during the early hours, with outbreaks of rain developing.
Overnight temperatures are forecast to fall to a minimum of 3°C.
Sunday 1st March
Sunday will begin unsettled, with outbreaks of rain. The heaviest and most persistent rain is expected over the moors.
It should become somewhat drier during the afternoon, although drizzle may linger in places. It will remain windy throughout the day.
Maximum temperatures are forecast to reach 12°C.

Monday 2nd to Wednesday 4th March
Further spells of rain are expected on Monday, with lighter winds compared to Sunday.
Conditions are forecast to turn drier overall on Tuesday and Wednesday as higher pressure builds. It is set to stay mild, with winds easing through the middle of the week.
Residents across the South West are advised to expect a changeable few days, with wet and windy conditions on Sunday before a more settled spell develops into next week.
