Cornwall weather: Saturday 19 September, rain before a fine spell

It stays cloudy and damp through the evening, so the wet start carries on for a while yet. After midnight things gradually turn drier, with variable cloud and clear spells opening up and the winds easing down. The minimum drops to around 12°C, a fresher feel than the day.

Sunday

Sunday 20 September is the turning point. It is a drier, brighter day with light winds, and it feels pleasant whenever the sun comes through. Those sunny spells grow through the afternoon, so the later you get into the day, the better it looks. The maximum reaches 21°C.

Monday to Wednesday

The fine theme holds into the new week, with plenty of dry weather and sunny spells. The nights turn chilly at first, with patchy fog forming where the air is coldest, so early risers may want an extra layer.
