Cornwall weather: Thursday 30 July, fresher air before Sunday rain
If the recent mugginess has been getting to you, Thursday brings a change of feel. The air turns fresher across Cornwall this week, with a stray shower here and there, though the warmth is not going anywhere just yet. Here is how the next few days shape up.

Today
Thursday starts grey, with cloud across the region and the odd spot of rain to shake off first thing. Things pick up through the afternoon as skies brighten from the northwest, and most places should see out the evening on a fine note. Gentle northwesterly winds make it feel fresher than of late. The top temperature reaches 23°C.
Tonight
A clear and dry night follows for most, though the far southwest of Cornwall could catch an isolated shower. Winds fall very light, and it turns cool for many, with the temperature dropping to a minimum of around 10°C.
Friday
Friday opens dry and bright, with only some patchy cloud lingering in the north. The sunshine turns a little hazier as the afternoon wears on, but the sunny spells still feel warm. The maximum temperature comes in at 22°C.

The weekend and beyond
Saturday keeps things settled, dry with warm spells of sunshine and light winds. The bigger talking point is what comes next. There is a chance of some much needed rain developing across the region later on Sunday and into Monday, so the gardens and water butts may get a top-up as the new week begins.
