Warm, dry and sunny across Cornwall, but keep an eye on Saturday

Cornwall is heading into a proper stretch of summer, with dry, settled conditions and temperatures reaching 27°C forecast to hold for most of the week. The only real question mark comes right at the end.

A warm, sunny start to the week

Any early mist and fog should clear quickly on Tuesday, leaving a dry day with plenty of sunshine. Some fair weather cloud may bubble up at times, mainly through the middle of the day. It will feel warm in the sunshine, with light winds and a high of 27°C.

The evening stays fine with late sunshine, and overnight remains dry and largely clear. Some patchy mist could develop in places, with lows of around 12°C.

The warm run keeps going

Wednesday brings more of the same. Fine and dry with plenty of sunshine, feeling very warm inland, and a touch cooler near the coast as sea breezes develop. Another high of 27°C.

Thursday and Friday are set to stay fine, dry and very warm across the region.

Saturday is the one to watch

The dry spell looks likely to hold into Saturday, but that is where things get less certain. Forecasters say rain may reach the area later in the day, which could bring the settled run to a close as the week ends.
