Cornwall weather: Wednesday 4 November, cloudy with a cool breeze
If you were hoping for a crisp, bright one to carry you into November, Cornwall is not quite playing along. The Met Office has the South West under a good deal of cloud for the rest of the week, with the odd spot of rain and a cool easterly breeze taking the edge off. Here is the Cornwall weather picture from today through the weekend, based on the latest regional forecast.

Today
It is a cloudy, dull start across the region, with perhaps the odd spot of rain to begin. Skies gradually brighten in places as the day goes on, especially west of the high ground, and some sunshine develops. Temperatures sit near average, with a maximum of around 11°C, though the easterly breeze makes it feel rather cool.
Tonight
It stays rather cloudy overnight, and some rain may reach parts of Cornwall and south Devon at times. The breeze hangs on, which helps stop temperatures dropping away, with a minimum of around 6°C.
Thursday 5 November
Bonfire Night is another largely cloudy day for many, though some sunshine develops towards the west. There is still the risk of a few spots of rain, particularly along the south coast. The easterly breeze gradually eases through the day, and the maximum is again around 11°C.

The weekend
The outlook from Friday into the weekend keeps the cloud around. It stays often cloudy throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with the risk of some showery rain at times. That rain looks most likely towards Devon and Cornwall on Friday and Saturday. Temperatures hold near average, so no great swing either way as the week closes out under the grey.
