Cornwall hedgehog rescue Prickles and Paws needs a minute of your time

It costs nothing, and by the rescue’s own reckoning it takes about a minute. That is the whole ask from a Cornish hedgehog charity this week, and there is £5,000 riding on it.

Prickles and Paws Hedgehog Rescue is asking supporters to put its name forward in the Movement for Good Animals & Wildlife Special Draw, which is now open for nominations.

What the rescue is asking for

The draw is run by Benefact Group’s Movement for Good and is for charities supporting animals and wildlife. Prickles and Paws is hoping to be picked for a £5,000 award.

In a post to its followers, the rescue said: “A £5,000 award would make a huge difference to our work rescuing and rehabilitating hedgehogs across Cornwall.”

Its appeal graphic puts the question a little more directly. “Got 60 seconds to do a good deed?”

How to nominate Prickles and Paws

Nominations are made online through the Movement for Good Animals & Wildlife Special Draw page.

The rescue is also asking people to pass the appeal on once they have done it.

“It only takes a moment,” the post said. “Please nominate us and share with your friends!”
