Alex Gray joins Continuum’s new Wadebridge office
While plenty of financial advisers have been quietly stepping back from Britain’s high streets, Wadebridge has just gained a new one. Continuum, a Plymouth-headquartered financial advice partnership, has appointed investments and pensions specialist Alex Gray to its recently opened North Cornwall office.

A specialist adviser with a decade in the industry
Alex joins from True Potential, where he worked as a self-employed financial adviser. He holds a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and began his career in financial services in 2015.
He said joining Continuum was a natural next step, with the partnership standing out for its reputation, values and commitment to independent financial advice.
“I’ve worked in financial services for several years and have always enjoyed helping people make informed financial decisions,” Alex said. “As my career developed, I wanted to be part of a business that genuinely puts clients first while giving advisers the support they need to deliver the highest standards of service.”
Taking over from a retiring adviser
Alex is one of two new advisers to join the Continuum team at the Wadebridge office, bringing their own clients as well as taking over the clients of retiring independent financial adviser Darren Rowe.
“I’m honoured to have the opportunity to look after Darren’s clients following his retirement,” Alex said. “He built an outstanding reputation in Wadebridge over many years, and my priority is to provide clients with the confidence that they’ll continue to receive the same personal, high-quality service they’ve always enjoyed.”
A high street office when others are pulling back
Continuum opened its new office on Wadebridge high street this summer, serving around 1,000 local clients at a time when many advisers in the wider industry are abandoning high street premises altogether.
Martin Brown, Managing Partner at Continuum, welcomed Alex to the partnership. “We are delighted to welcome Alex to Continuum,” he said. “He shares our belief that great financial planning is built on trust, long-term relationships and genuinely understanding each client’s individual needs.”

About Continuum
Continuum was established in 2014 by founding partner Martin Brown as a national IFA business, built around a three-way partnership between Continuum, the adviser and the client. The firm runs an award-winning financial education programme and a client loyalty scheme, and its most recent customer survey delivered a Net Promoter Score of +90.
An in-house discretionary model portfolio service, My Continuum Wealth, launched in July 2021 for Continuum advisers, and the partnership now holds assets under influence in excess of £3.12 billion. In December 2020 it was awarded ESG kitemark (ESGmark) accreditation for its approach to environmental, social responsibility and governance matters.
“His local knowledge, professional expertise and client-first approach make him a fantastic addition to our growing adviser community,” Martin added, “and we’re excited to support him as he continues to build his business across North Cornwall.”
