Cornwall FA wants local businesses to help build what’s next

Cornwall Football Association is opening its doors to the county’s business community, and it wants the conversation to start now.

A new chapter for Cornish football

Cornwall Football Association says it is entering an exciting new chapter, with a run of initiatives, events and partnership opportunities on the way. Rather than approach businesses individually as those plans take shape, the association has put out an open call, inviting organisations and individuals who share its ambition for the game in Cornwall to get in touch.

The idea is to find people and companies interested in exploring how working together could create a positive impact both for their own business and for football across the county.

What Cornwall FA wants to hear about

The call is deliberately broad. Cornwall FA says it wants to hear from anyone interested in building stronger connections with communities across Cornwall, supporting a particular area of the Cornish game, growing their own business, reach and impact through football, or simply finding out more about what is coming up.

Anyone who registers their interest will get more detail on the association’s plans and an invitation to its inaugural Funding Partners Forum events, which will bring together organisations interested in supporting the future of Cornish football and the wider community work built around it.

More than a sponsorship deal

Cornwall FA is keen to stress this is not a straightforward sponsorship pitch. It is being framed instead as the start of a conversation, a chance to build relationships and find out what a business and the association could achieve together, whatever shape that ends up taking.
