What the town council is putting together
Camelford Town Council is preparing a Neighbourhood Priorities Statement (NPS). The council says it will help identify the issues and priorities that matter most to the community.
To write it, the council wants to form a small working group. It would like to hear from residents and businesses who are interested in getting involved.
Where the statement ends up
Once finished, the NPS will be submitted to Cornwall Council. It will be used to help inform the development of the new Cornwall Local Plan.
The town council says the aim is to make sure local views and priorities are considered as future planning policies are developed.
How to put your name forward
Anyone who would like to be considered for the working group should email [email protected] by this Wednesday (14 October).
The email should include a brief introduction about yourself and why you would like to take part.
In its appeal, the town council said: “We look forward to hearing from you and working together to help shape Camelford’s future.”
