For many, Christmas is a time for traditions, togetherness, and the joy of decorating homes while preparing to see loved ones. At Cornwall Hospice Care, it’s also a time for connection through care, compassion, and a shared meal.

A Christmas of Comfort and Connection

For Paul, a chef at Mount Edgcumbe Hospice, food plays a key role in making the festive season special for patients and their families. On Christmas Day, Paul will don a festive hat and visit each bedside, chatting with patients and their families, listening to cherished memories, and tailoring meals to each person’s tastes — even if it’s just a spoonful of something special.

How You Can Help

Cornwall Hospice Care is inviting people to help make this Christmas special by taking part in their Christmas Raffle. Tickets cost £1.50 each, with a top prize of £2,000 and twelve £100 prizes also up for grabs.
