Cornish Pirates make it official with BigBox after years together

Anyone following the Cornish Pirates online this season has already seen the team’s work. They just might not have known whose it was.

The Cornish Pirates have announced BigBox as the club’s official media partner.

Following its recent award-winning success, BigBox has been behind the new social media and team announcement videos appearing across the Pirates’ channels this season, and the club says there is more to come.

Years of working together behind the scenes

It isn’t the first time BigBox content has turned up on the Pirates’ feeds. The agency has produced several campaigns for the club in partnership with Premier Partners Brooks Financial Planning.

BigBox also works with a number of other Cornish Pirates partners, including Pellows, Innovation Nursery and Argos Fire.

Ross Hancock, the club’s Head of Commercial and Communications, said: “We’re so pleased to make our relationship with BigBox official, after working together indirectly for several years now. They have really elevated our content this season for match days and have helped amplify our partnerships with sponsors. It’s great to see them share so many of our partners and I’m sure that will continue to grow.”

‘A no brainer’

Mike Bee, Co-Founder of BigBox, has been a Pirates fan for more than 20 years and has a strong passion for rugby.

He said: “It’s been a no brainer for us to work with the Pirates. We are proud to be creating social content for them to engage with the fans across multiple platforms.”

“We have a lot of clients who are already partners and sponsors so this step represents an even closer mutually beneficial working relationship which we hope will be in place for years to come.”
