South West Weather Set for Warm Turn After Showery Start
Residents across the South West of England could see a noticeable change in the weather this week, with a few unsettled spells early on before conditions turn warmer and more settled.
According to the latest forecast covering Monday 16th March to Friday 20th March, the week begins with a mix of cloud, sunshine and the odd shower, before brighter and warmer weather arrives midweek.

Monday: Showers Early, Then Cloud Building
Monday 16th March begins with isolated showers in some areas first thing, although many places will see a bright morning with sunny intervals.
Cloud is expected to increase during the afternoon and some areas may see a little rain, but most locations are likely to stay dry. It will also be breezy, with temperatures reaching a maximum of 12°C.
Mild and Cloudy Overnight
Overnight into Tuesday, conditions will remain largely cloudy, with the possibility of the odd light shower in places.
It will be much milder than the previous night, with temperatures staying frost free. Blustery southerly winds are expected, particularly in western areas, with a minimum temperature of around 7°C.
Tuesday: Brighter Later in the Day
Tuesday 17th March is expected to start mostly cloudy but dry, with occasional brighter intervals during the morning.
As the day goes on, more sunshine may develop during the afternoon. Temperatures will feel milder, although breezy conditions will continue, with a maximum temperature of 14°C.

Warm and Sunny Spell Midweek
Looking further ahead, the forecast for Wednesday 18th March through to Friday 20th March suggests a fine and settled period of weather.
Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be sunny and unseasonably warm, although nights will remain chilly with patchy fog forming in places.
By Friday, conditions are forecast to turn somewhat cloudier and cooler, with winds becoming stronger at times.
