The Looe Festival of Words returns for its second year with five days of free community events celebrating all things literary. The programme includes:

Writing workshops (editing, poetry, playwriting)

Storytelling evenings, from sea-inspired tales to a Ghost Night in one of Looe’s most haunted pubs

Craft sessions giving old books a new life

A Book Fair with local authors and publishers

Rockpool ramble with children’s author Ellie Jackson and Looe Marine Conservation Group

Cream tea and book-themed quiz

There’s also a pre-festival information event hosted by Dyslexia Cornwall.
🎟️ All events are free, but spaces are limited. Booking is recommended, and donations on the day are welcomed to support the festival’s future.
