There will an large influx of holiday makers into the area over the next couple of weeks. Some of these drivers will not be familiar with the roads and may not be so confident with engaging reverse gear as local drivers. Please be patient and allow extra time for your journey in these busier weeks.
With this increase in visitors, drivers may notice more congestion in popular areas, particularly around coastal towns and main travel routes.
Plan Ahead and Take Care
Motorists travelling across Cornwall this week are being encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time, especially during peak travel periods.
With speed detection officers active across multiple locations and roads expected to be busier than usual, drivers are advised to remain aware of their surroundings and drive carefully throughout the week.
