Devon and Cornwall Speed Camera Locations for 6th to 12th April
Drivers Beware: Speed Cameras Target Cornwall This Week
Motorists across Cornwall are being urged to take extra care this week as Devon & Cornwall Police’s Road Safety Team confirms where speed detection officers will be operating.
The enforcement activity begins on Monday 6th April and continues throughout the week, covering a wide range of locations across both Devon and Cornwall, including many of Cornwall’s busiest towns and key routes.

Where officers will be
The locations released by the Road Safety Team show a clear spread of enforcement across the region, with officers set to move between different areas each day.
On Monday 6th April, officers will be focusing on the A38 in South Devon, a major route used by drivers travelling in and out of Cornwall.
On Tuesday 7th April, enforcement will take place across a large number of locations including Plymouth, the A38 South Devon, North Devon, and Paignton. In Cornwall, officers will be operating in Redruth, Penzance, St Austell, and Truro.
On Wednesday 8th April, the focus shifts again with coverage in North Devon, West Devon including the A30, Honiton, Ottery, and Totnes. In Cornwall, checks are planned for St Austell and Newquay.
On Thursday 9th April, enforcement continues in Plymouth, South Hams, North Devon, and Torquay, alongside Cornwall locations Liskeard and St Austell.
On Friday 10th April, officers will be active across a wide area, including Bodmin, Launceston, and North Cornwall, as well as Falmouth, St Austell, Helston, and Truro. Additional checks will take place in Exeter, along the A3052 in East Devon, and in Ottery.
On Saturday 11th April, attention turns to Liskeard, Camborne, Newquay, Redruth, and Launceston.
On Sunday 12th April, the week concludes with enforcement in St Austell, Redruth, Hayle, Wadebridge, and Bodmin.
Focus on key routes and towns
Several locations, including St Austell, Redruth, Newquay, and Liskeard, appear multiple times throughout the week. Major roads such as the A38 and A30 are also included, highlighting a continued focus on routes that see higher volumes of traffic.
With checks taking place on different days and in both urban and rural areas, drivers are likely to encounter enforcement at various points across the county.
Police reminder to drivers
The Road Safety Team has issued a simple message alongside the planned enforcement schedule, urging motorists to drive with care and remain within the speed limit wherever they are travelling.
The presence of speed detection officers across the region throughout the week serves as a reminder for drivers to stay alert and drive responsibly at all times.
