A body brush. A roller. A set of cups and a shaping tool. All of them made of wood, and all of them part of a new treatment arriving at a spa overlooking one of Cornwall’s best-known beaches next month.

Fistral Spa at Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa in Newquay is launching GAIA Lymphatic Sculpt from Monday 12 October, bringing one of wellness’ most in-demand treatment trends to the Cornish coast.

What GAIA Lymphatic Sculpt involves

The treatment combines advanced lymphatic drainage techniques with rhythmic massage movements and that specialist wooden equipment. According to the spa, each piece has been chosen to enhance the sculpting techniques, stimulate circulation and encourage lymphatic flow, supporting the body’s natural detoxification processes.

It has been created to help reduce feelings of fluid retention and heaviness. The aim is to improve the appearance of skin tone and encourage a smoother, more contoured silhouette, with guests leaving feeling lighter, more energised and visibly refreshed.

Therapists work with GAIA’s naturally derived body care products throughout, including Calming Body Oil, Awakening Body Butter and Mineral SPF Moisturiser, to nourish the skin alongside the massage.

Prices and the 90-minute option

GAIA Lymphatic Sculpt comes in two lengths:

• 60 minutes: £120
• 90 minutes: £140

The longer session adds a facial lymphatic drainage ritual. It’s designed to help reduce puffiness, define facial contours and promote a radiant, refreshed complexion.

A one-off reset or a regular ritual

The spa says the treatment works either as a single wellness reset or as part of a regular self-care routine.

Many clients feel the benefits straight away. But for anyone looking to support lymphatic wellbeing over the longer term, regular sessions are recommended, and a programme of monthly maintenance treatments can build on the results of each visit.
